Dropbox’s creative approach to what constitutes a Minimum Viable Product was incredibly simple and effective. Using a beta launch video and an email sign-up to measure interest, they saw sign-ups increase from 5,000-75,000 in one day- a metric that gave them the confidence to go ahead and build the actual product.
