DiUS Sponsors AWS Summit Sydney on 27 and 28 April 2016

As an Advanced Consulting Partner, DiUS has a long-standing partnership with AWS. For the third year in a row, we are proud to be a Gold Sponsor of AWS Summit Sydney – being held over two days, it is expected that up to 3000 delegates will be in attendance at this years event.

Held on 27 – 28 April at the Hordern Pavilion, you will find us in the Expo Hall (Royal Hall of Industries) – the center of all Summit activity.

DiUS Senior Software Engineer, Pavi De Alwis will be on stage, presenting alongside BioImage Analyst and microscopy jockey, Lachlan Whitehead of the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research. At 2:15pm on day 1 in the Hordern Pavilion, Pavi and Lachlan will discuss the industry and research partnership that is making inroads to solving a common challenge faced by medical researchers – long processing times of giant datasets. The team will give insight into how using large scale on-demand compute and the cloud is helping the institute accelerate the processing and analysis of microscopy data.

This is an exciting partnership for DiUS and the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute, and we are excited to share our story with you.

Our team in the Expo Hall will be tweeting on the day using the hashtag #awssummit – so be sure the follow our feed and tag us in your tweets @dius_au.

We are excited to continue our partnership with AWS and be a part of this year’s event. Pavi, Lachlan and the team look forward to seeing you there!
