The Future of Tech is Just Around the Corner

At DiUS, we love the cool, the new and the interesting, which is why we are excited to be the Future Tech Sponsor at Future Assembly – Australia’s newest emergent technology festival.

Being held on Friday the 13th and Saturday the 14th of November at the Royal Melbourne Showgrounds, Future Assembly is an event designed for everyone. With a focus on the connected world, you will be exposed to Drones, Prosthetics, Additive Manufacturing, Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things and Genomics – but that’s only the start! You can expect two days jam packed with interesting talks, educational workshops and emerging tech demonstrations.

Exploration and Inspiration

As for us, our team will be there exploring and talking to start-ups and corporates alike; listening to and gaining new insights from the industry we love to be a part of. We specialise in helping businesses bring their ideas to life, so naturally we can’t wait to be inspired by what’s on offer during the two day event.

Diversity Matters

On Saturday at 3:30pm, Paula Burton, our Business Development and Partnerships Principal will be facilitating a panel discussion on the main stage. The panel of extremely passionate and inspiring individuals will be discussing the challenges of diversity in tech. Founder of Robogals and Young Australian of the Year in 2012, Marita Cheng; Melbourne Startup Market Manager at BlueChilliRen Butler; and Engineering Community and Outreach Program Manager at Google, Sally-Ann Williams will give you their view on why diversity matters and what we can do to help solve the diversity dilemma.

In its first year, Future Assembly is shaping up to be an awesome event – so make sure you get along and don’t forget to use the discount code ‘DIUS’ for 30% off your ticket.

Hope to see you there!
