DiUS is thrilled to have won both the Customer Experience and Digital Transformation awards at the 2018 CRN Impact Awards gala dinner held on May 3rd, 2018.

The 2018 CRN Impact Awards celebrate the technology providers transforming customer organisations and building Australia’s innovation economy for the future. Awards are presented in 12 categories designed to recognise the diversity of IT providers and Australian innovators.

DiUS took out the first win of the night in the Customer Experience category for the development of a chatbot, dubbed ‘nibby’, for NIB Health Insurance. This award recognises projects that help client organisations better service their own end user customers in a digital, mobile world.

With nibby, nib was the first Australian health insurer to introduce artificial intelligence (AI) services to assist customers with their health insurance enquiries. An investment in customer experience innovation, the chatbot gives nib customers more convenience through offering a choice in how to interact with the health insurer.

nib became the first Australian health insurer to introduce artificial intelligence technology to assist Aussies with their health insurance enquiries with the launch of nibby in October 2017.

This win marks the second year in row that DiUS has won the Customer Experience award. In 2017, DiUS won for another Australian first: creating Australia’s first virtual reality property group for REA Group.

DiUS also won the last award of the night in the highly coveted Digital Transformation category for a game-changing IoT and application solution in fuel monitoring for Environmental Monitoring Solutions (EMS). This award recognises projects that help customer organisations modernise internal systems and harness the power of data.

Environmental Monitoring Solutions partnered with DiUS to deliver an IoT, cloud-based platform and web application to provide a unique and first of its kind monitoring and reporting solution specifically for retail fuel businesses. EMS’ Fuelsuite and Fuelscan tools help petroleum retailers across Australia run their operations safely and efficiently by providing a 24/7 monitoring and reporting solution across all of the stations’ operating systems.
