A few weeks ago, I was given the opportunity to participate in a GameDay on a client engagement. As this would be my first Gameday, I was super excited, however I had little idea about what to expect, or how I should prepare for it. In this blog post, I'll share my own personal experience from participating in a GameDay, with a focus on the more technical side of things.
Last month, we were invited to attend SBC’s Sports and Event Tech Fast Track event at the Australian Grand Prix. Fast Track events are designed to provide instant feedback to startups wanting to be part of the SBC program from industry experts, potential partners and investors. 10 local Victorian startups were invited to pitch at the event, receive feedback and hear more about SBC’s accelerator program.
Celebrating International Women’s Day this year was bittersweet. It’s wonderful to be part of an event that’s so widely adopted. It’s an occasion to talk up all the wonderful women we know and work with—and goodness me there are many—to raise awareness of how far we still have to go in workforce gender equality, and talk about how to get there. But it's also a reminder that it’s 2020 and we still live in a world without equality, not just in gender.
