Close the gap between interest
in Machine Learning and
implementation for success
The amount of effort and investment required to do ML well is underestimated by organisations.
That’s according to our Machine Learning in Australia National Pulse Report 2021. We surveyed over 200 organisations to find out why this transformative technology is not yet being adopted at the rate it should be.
82% of Australian organisations are interested in ML, but only 21% have a project in production. Our findings suggest adoption is correlated with having an ML strategy and possessing sufficient ML capability. Because this field is still so new, best practices and tooling are still solidifying and success requires focused investment coupled with specialist skills.
