Our story
How we got here
DiUS was founded in 2004 in Melbourne by Joe Losinno and Clency Coutet with a simple belief: technology is the means, business outcomes are the end. From the start we used emerging technology to build better products and helped teams learn how to keep doing it. That belief still guides us.
Over the next two decades we grew from a small product shop into a team of 150+ across Australia and New Zealand, bringing design, data, AI and IoT alongside software engineering. We’ve delivered more than 1,500 projects for 300 clients, often through long-standing partnerships, and we’ve taken our own ideas to market. What’s stayed constant is the aim: do the work that matters, build it to hold up in the real world, and leave lasting capability behind.

We build, ship and scale our own products
We started as product makers and never stopped. We design, build and commercialise our own software and hardware, then keep it running in the world. Along the way we’ve had successful exits, including Pactflow, acquired by SmartBear in 2022, and IMDEX acquiring Datarock in 2026.
That’s how we learn what really matters: decisions that balance ambition and risk, designs that hold up in production, and simple ways for teams to own and evolve what they build. We bring that maker experience into client work, which is part of why teams come back to us.
