“I wasn’t actively looking for new opportunities when DiUS reached out to me, but the interview process was the most positive experience I’ve ever had. It’s hard to believe a few years back I didn’t even know what software consulting meant, as I’ve enjoyed every minute of my time here. The best part is being able to work on different projects while knowing you will always have support from the DiUS team.
In my previous roles and employers, there are places where you learn a lot, but you don’t always get enough support. Other places aren’t stressful, but you don’t improve or progress your career. DiUS has the perfect balance where I learn every day and at the same time know I can get help if needed.
After all these years, I feel as though DiUS is more like a family to me, not just an employer.”
DiUS is always to stay on the forefront of new tech / ways of working there’s always something interesting happening. But I think for me, it’s mostly about the variety of work that’s available.
I’ve had about 10 different engagements over my time and the role I play in each has been different, plus what I’m working on is different – from startups to big enterprise, working on apps, bots / ML, web, backend.
Additionally I’ve been able to work on some quite fulfilling projects a number in the mental health space. I also think the leadership are always willing to try things and take on any feedback – so I feel like I can help shape the environment.”
“DiUS gives off friendly family vibes – the two founders Joe and Clency love to say hello and have a chat. I was impressed with how much the founders interact with everyone at the company. They take the time to get to know their employees and you can tell they love coming to work each day.
DiUS really values its employees and wants to see you succeed both professionally and personally. In recent times I have really valued their transparency and the ‘we’re all in this together’ mentality that has got us through the uncertainty of the coronavirus pandemic.
There is always something new to get involved with in my role, whether its creating improvements, developing others, assisting with our progressing startups or participating in the social aspects of the company that our People and Culture team really drive.”
“Throughout my career, I’ve always been passionate about design and technology. Although the job title has changed and evolved over time, designing digital experiences has always been at the core of what I do.
When joining DiUS, I remember being excited to take on a role within cross-functional teams. I had experienced a big gap between the design concept and the finished product in the past – I was pleased to be part of a newer, better way of working.
I get to work with some of the most passionate and intelligent people I know. That influence is inspiring and motivates me to be a better designer. The supportive culture at DiUS has helped me extend myself into areas of design I’d previously shied away from. It’s rewarding to achieve new goals, and I feel like the potential for my growth at DiUS is limitless.”
