Agile Australia is being held at the Hilton Sydney on the 17th and 18th of June, and this year we are excited to have two speakers presenting at the event.
First up, on day two of the conference, our Business Development and Partnerships Principal, Paula Burton will be presenting alongside John Sullivan from MYOB on why diversity matters. Their talk, entitled Attracting and Retaining Women in Technology-Based Careers will discuss the challenges presented by gender imbalance, and demonstrate ways of addressing these issues in the workplace to overcome the diversity dilemma.
You can catch Paula and John at 11:30 am.
Also on day two, DiUS Senior Software Engineer, Beth Skurrie will be talking microservices. In her presentation Making your Microservices Play Nicely Together, Beth will discuss how Pact can solve the problems caused by breaking code into small independent services by using consumer driven contracts.
Be sure to check out Beth’s talk at 12:15 pm.
Our team will also be tweeting throughout the conference using the hashtag #agileaus, so be sure to follow our feed and don’t forget to tag us in your tweets @dius_au.
